Interim Machine Shop Manager Ref: PHS9104.

Leading designer and manufacturer of small machined components, is experiencing significant manufacturing volume increase.

Requires: Interim Machine Shop Manager.

Reporting to: Operations Director, Responsible for a total staff of 72 double shift operators, with 9 team leaders reporting direct:Manufacturing mainly cylindrical parts < 30mm diameter. Machines involved automatics, CNC lathes and machining centres.

Outline of role:
  1. Day to day production management.
  2. Efficiently increase production to meet customer requirements.
Candidate requirements:
  1. Must have a "hands" on "positive" approach with strong organisational and interpersonal skills
  2. Extensive manufacturing production management experience involving small part manufacture.

Location: Somerset

Duration: 2 - 3 months

Start date: ASAP

Daily Rate: £300 - £400 + expenses. Higher rates would be considered for the ideal candidate.
